Ideal Size for Trinity, Some Omissions
Holds a Sony A7rIV w/ attached Sony 70-200mm 2.8 accessible in the sling pocket. Room for my Sigma 24-70 2.8, Sony 50, Sony 10-18 all in the main compartment. The auxiliary compartment holds all my lens hoods, charger, filters, cleaning kit with room leftover. This bag is firmly adequate. Pro's: This bag size is perfect for my (almost complete) trinity lens set. Convertible sling/backpack: partially detach and fold the straps into the bag layers to make a left or right shoulder sling bag. Simply use both straps as a backpack. Ample additional room in the auxiliary compartment for accessories.

Great Ruggard Quality for the right purpose
I've been using Ruggard products for years. I can tell you they are all very well designed and hold up extremely well, and this bag is no different. This particular bag is well suited to someone who likes to be able to access their camera while wearing the bag. The side access is really the only comfortable place to access your camera since that's what this was designed to do. Furthermore it's quite large with lots of space for extra gear and etc. So if you're a person on the move with a lot of stuff (or just like extra space), this bag would work for you. Conversely, if you're a person who se

Good Bag, Designed for Backpack Use
A good bag, especially for the money. Easily handles a D850 with attached 24-70 f2.8, a separate 70-200 f2.8, and a couple of primes. The side access on both sides is convenient to set up for either left or right handed use. The top compartment is good size and handy, and the pockets for spare cards and batteries appear secure. As others have noted, the exterior side pockets are adequate but not especially remarkable. This bag is clearly designed as a backpack. My only concern, and primary reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5, is the handle at the top which is small and appears lightly attache

Took it on a long trip
At first, I wasn't sure whether I should get it as it was a new release and I didn't really know if it had its downsides, regardless, I took a chance as I had a 30 day trip to Nicaragua coming up and had to buy a bag for my DSLR. While I don't have the most extensive setup, I definitely have an idea of what it can hold. I have my D7100 with a Tokina 12-28, an 18-55, and the charger of my DSLR, laptop, and speaker all in there with room to fit a another small lens (like a 50mm). That's not even including the daypack above. I would usually take essentials such as hand sanitizer, mosquito repelle

Superb Bag
I really enjoy this bag. All of my photography equipment that I used fit inside specifically designed compartments. I appreciate the the durability. This bag is very user friendly. The best bag I purchased so far.

Ruggard Lynx Slingback
So far I am pleased with this purchase. The padding seems thick enough for support and safety, but not too fluffy. Zippers work smoothly. I really like the number of different ways the bag can be opened. Ive got a lot of gear shoved in there, but was surprised by how quickly I filled the bag. (Canon 6d with 18-40, 50, 100, flash inside; rebel and tamron back up on top, plus batteries/chargers and rain cover; folded soft box in the back.) It also also feels a little awkward on my back. Im only 53, however, so I suspect that would be the case with most backpack style bags. Overall, Im happy and

Good bag, but I missed something important
All N' all, it's a great backpack, pockets are good, lots of space for Items. However I have a few cons; 1. the slingpack feature in the backpack isn't comfortable at all. 2. the backpack sticks out too much, It's a camera bag no doubt, but I didn't expect it to stick out this much, as a day to day casual backpack it just doesn't workout to me. That's pretty much it. Laptop compartment is quite tight, so expect it to keep your laptop held well, and very well protected! (Bottom part is also hard case, which protects it well from short drops (not tested, but feels good) I think the laptop compar

Great, versatile Backpack/Slingpack.
I purchased the Lynx 45 to carry my camera, lens, and other gear when travelling. I found that my D5600, three zoom lens, 5 filters, wireless remote release, and all my miscellaneous gear (such as lens cleaning cloths and filter wrenches all fit into the lower compartment easily. That leaves the upper compartment for storage of a light windbreaker, rain poncho and anything else such as snacks, etc. The ability to configure the pack as a backpack or slingpack will be handy depending on the type and length of my trips. I have tried both configurations and they work well for me. The only thing I

Lots of Room
I like not only the amount and variety of space in this pack, but the different access methods, such as side zippers on both sides. Ive got two cameras in it, 2 lenses, multiple accessories, and some manuals. Couldnt fit my flash in there, but its hanging on the tab on the outside. I like the centered tripod arrangement and the possibility of making a one-strap sling bag out of it. Dont have a laptop, but I like the flat storage as well. Only thing, I wish those yellow dividers were a little more sturdy and tough. Still, its great.

Good Backpack
I quite like this backpack. It has a lot of compartments and seems like it will protect my gear well. I like that is has the sleeve for my laptop. The backpack also fits comfortably.

Well built and big
I have a Nikon D7500 with the 18-55 mm lens and the 70-300 lens and a cheap slave flash and other equipment, and this bag just swallowed them up with plenty of room to spare. I should be able to add the other lenses I need to make a full kit and a speed light before it is full. And that is just the camera section. In the top, I have tons of small parts as well as 2 medium-sized flashlights. This bag seems rugged and very well built.

The bag is excellent but the tripod support is unfortunately not very good.. The bottom strap does not hold secure the tripod and moves loose.. It feel unstable and unsecured..

Not the best but..
Bag is roomy to hold your gear and some. They messed up putting the rain cover in the top pouch unsecured link on the discontinued Lynx sling line. Easy to loose the rain cover. NOTE: cones with a 5 year warranty but I had to jump through hoops to get the company to honor it for my other bag when the zipper became undone. Keep this in mind when you purchase and KEEP THAT RECEIPT! Luckily B&H keeps a record of your purchases for reference.

I would definitely purchase this pack again.
I purchased this pack to serve as a day pack and short hike pack, carrying a large DSLR body and a couple of lenses with accessories. Works perfectly and is enjoyable not to lug my large backpack for its intended purpose. The top compartment is perfect for a variety of items--light jacket, filters, batteries, etc. Construction is good and the pack looks great.

Great bag for a full mirrorless kit and a laptop
I love configuring bags to suit my needs. This bag gives me what I need in terms of storage space, accessibility, protection and comfort. I'm using it for a mirrorless kit with all kinds of accessories and doodads and a laptop. Still room for more gear and everything is well organized.

Ruggard Lynx 55 SlingPack
All is Ok exept 2 things 1).....the cloth carry grip on top is really flimsy, narrow and uncomfortable to grab and carry 2).....the thinner adjustable straps on the back are WAY too long. You have to either cut them short or bundle them with a rubber band.

Strong and good quality but the tripod holder is too small for my tripod and doesnt have a lot of pockets for my wires and different cameras and stuff. Would have chosen a different style.

Sturdy but heavy. Looks bigger in the pics than it performs. For me, I would like more storage pockets for little things. A velcro closure on one of the pockets pulled off the first time I used it. Reasonably priced and nice looking. If again, I would spend more and get one that is lighter with more storage pockets. I'm giving it a 3 because it is not misrepresented; but for my use it's less.
